Joanne Arnold is an artist who has sustained a daily practice of photographing at first light each and every day for over a decade. In her early morning forays on the waterfront of Portland, Maine, she encounters not only the landscape drenched in the light of dawn but the people who inhabit that landscape. We joined her one morning beneath the Casco Bay Bridge in Portland as she practiced her art while wearing the Brush duster.
